Zavida Gemstones started out with a deceptively simple mission: to establish a company that combines a love of gemstones and jewelry with a passion for helping people less fortunate. Four years and many airline miles later, Zavida has truly become "fashion conscious"-we maintain a wide range of unique handmade gemstone jewelry, while also giving back 25% of profits to support jewelry artisans in struggling regions.
Our philosophy in action
Zavida has created a business model where everyone involved, from the laborer in the quarry, to the artisan in her village, to the customer in her home, can emerge a winner. We source our jewelry directly from local artisans during our global travels, and also have partnerships with specific artist groups that we support though profit-sharing.

Under this business model, Zavida shoppers can select from gemstone jewelry at reasonable prices because we buy directly from the artist and eliminate the middleman. Meanwhile, the artists who produce the jewelry, and the individuals who physically labor to obtain gemstones from the earth, are given a chance to improve their lives through the development projects Zavida has established.
Our efforts have already been rewarded in ways we never dreamed possible. Zavida and its clientele are truly making a difference to both people and planet, and we look forward to what the future holds.
